** IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT**
Back in 2002, I established All Gears to satisfy my passion for classic gearboxes. Restoring, repairing and building gearboxes, (especially Getrag, BMW, G.M, Lotus and Jaguar alongside classic Jaguars such as E-Type, Mark 2 etc...) has made me a specialist in my field and has given me the chance to work on some extraordinary projects worldwide.
Over the past few years, this passion has been overshadowed by an increase in work on commercial and modern transmissions, which have kept the business ticking over, but not provided me with the satisfaction I get from working on classics.
I have therefore come to the decision that from the 1st January 2025, I will no longer be accepting jobs on commercial,or modern gearboxes. Any jobs that fall into those categories that are already ongoing,will of course be completed.
This will give me the time and workspace to concentrate on building classic gearboxes to keep in stock, and complete jobs in a more time efficient way.
Everyone has their own definition of what classic is – if you feel that your car is a classic and you need help with it, please ring or email us for a chat.
Thank you to the customers of All Gears for your patience and understanding in what has been a difficult year. It is now time to get back to my roots and work on the gearboxes I love.
